Fix Connection Refused when Downloading Agent Package [on-premise]

Received an error showing "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it." when downloading agent package from Kaseya portal.


"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

  1. Confirm the issue by creating a new agent package and download it. If persist then proceed with the following. Else, contact support for further investigation.
  2. Navigate to the on-premise server
  3. Restart Kaseya Edge Services on Windows service manager (services.msc)
  4. Navigate to folder C:\Kaseya\Services\KaseyaEdgeServices
  5. Identify "ListenPorts" value. 
  6. If port 80 is not currently included, add it and then restart "Kaseya Edge services" service using Windows service manager (services.msc)



6. Re-visit the agent package and re-download and it should start normally. Else, contact Integricity support.
